Summary of BLS session

Please note the Basic Life Support session provided is an update for healthcare workers who have had previous experience and training. Often candidates book the session withour Manual Handling course on the same day.

The sessions will include the following elements:

Danger
Response
Airway
Breathing
Compressions
Breaths

The session follows the UK Resuscitation Council guidelines.

The session is an active session therefore appropriate clothing should be worn.

Candidates are expected to participate, ask questions and raise queries relevant to their work as a health care worker.

This session lasts for 1.5 hours.
